Build a Garden
Mr. Hill who lives in the Hillside House has just returned from a long and relaxing vacation together with his good companion Trusty the Terrier.
When he comes home he sees that his garden has turned into a jungle! Oh no! There are plants all over the place, and there’s even a palm tree growing in there.
But Mr. Hill knows what to do, he gets some garden clippers out and gets ready for some serious gardening work.
While trimming and cutting away all those weeds and plants, they find all sorts of stuff, like the garden table and chair, and hey, there’s even the mug he left there before he went on vacation.
And there’s the vegetable patch he planted too, looks like they are coming on nicely.
And there’s the barbecue! It is such a nice day, so he can’t wait to light it up and have a barbecue. But that has to be after they are done with the garden work.
To reach the highest plants and trees, he needs help from Trusty. They make a harness, and Trusty helps to secure Mr. Hill as he balances on top of a tree high above the ground.
The last thing they need to do is to trim the hedge. It’s unbelievable how much it has grown while they were away.
And finally it’s time to relax and enjoy a barbecue in the freshly trimmed garden.
