Winter Theme

One nice winter day Mr. Hill woke up and took a look outside, it had been snowing…

And it was not only a little snow, but enormous amounts!! Trusty, his dog ran out and started to play in the snow, he loves snow.

And so does Mr. Hill, but he thinks it is a bit of a hassle when he has to shovel that much of it away just to keep the walkways safe. Trusty loves it, and jumps around trying to catch the snow that is flying through the air.

There is also good exercise in this, he says to himself, while shoveling snow from his garden.

Hmmm.. but before we continue, we should have a bit of fun in the snow he says to Trusty, that snow pile that goes all the way up to the roof gives me an idea..

In the carport he finds a sled that needs a bit of fixing, but with the right tools, the job is quickly done.

That should do it, he says to Trusty. Now let’s go up there and test it!

Trusty holds the sled in place, while they get ready.

Yippee!!! The sled takes off and Trusty is barely able to jump on in the last second since it goes so fast.

Together they are able to steer the sled onto the ledge of snow going down to the garden and they both get down safely.

With these LEGO elements you too can make a sled that can slide on almost any surface. You can also build in more seats if you want more figures to fit on it. Happy building!
