Scale
A model's scale describes the relationship of the model's size to the size of the object it represents. Scale is usually expressed as a proportion in the form of "n1:n2" where n1 represents the size of the model and n2 represents the size of the original object. For example, a scale of 1:1 (pronounced "one-to-one") describes the relationship of a model to an object that is equal in size while a scale of 1:2 would mean that the model is 1/2 the original object's size. LEGO models are designed in one of three scales: Pocket Model Scale, Minifigure Scale, or Sculpture Scale.
