Question : How can a giant LEGO man stand with out falling forwards?
Answered by : Allen Demers, LEGO Model Designer

I am not sure how large your "giant" is, but as a LEGO model gets bigger, it is a good idea to start bracing it inside and out. If you can, try to integrate other items to make the model more stable. For example, instead of a man just standing there, he could be leaning on an umbrella. The umbrella can act as a third leg to help hold the figure up. You can replace the umbrella with the item of your choice, such as a cane, surfboard, golf club, pool cue, or whatever you want to make!

Question : Why can't the LEGO company make LEGO pieces that stay stuck together!?
Answered by : Allen Demers, LEGO Model Designer

Well, most LEGO elements do stick together - just not permanently - through something called interference fit. If the elements stuck together permanently by the use of an adhesive, you would not be able to take apart and rebuild your LEGO creations!

Question : How do you connect TECHNIC models with original LEGO models so they don't move?
Answered by : Allen Demers, LEGO Model Designer

When you connect "regular" LEGO bricks to TECHNIC elements, be sure to connect them in two places. Then they won't be able to pivot on the one pin!
